Viking Vintage Collection

Our Vintage Collection replicates the modernized craftsmanship of the 19th century, a time when smooth flooring was a rare commodity. Prior to the development of modern sanding equipment, hardwood floors were installed after milling, leaving noticeable marks from the saw blades at the mill. The textures found on these floors replicate the marks left behind by sawmill equipment of that era. Finish treatments contrast and highlight the character and grain of the wood. This style combines the beauty of natural wood with a vintage feel. As an added benefit, the saw mark texturing makes everyday wear such as scratches and dents much harder to see.
